After searching for cards that you want on the Exchange page of PCFlashCards, you need to save that file to your computer.

Do NOT unzip the file once it is saved and try to save it somewhere where you can locate it easily later on (like on your desktop).

Open PCFlashCards.

From the Dashboard toolbar click Tools.

Then put your cursor over Import. Two options will be presented - select the one that best suits your needs:

- Cards to Current Category - this will import the cards to the current category regardless of the categories the author assigned the cards to. i.e. - no category codes will be brought over and whatever categories you are currently in, the cards will be imported there!

- Cards with Category Structure - this will import the cards and all the category codes the author used when creating the cards. If you do not have the category codes set up, PCFlashCards will automatically do so for you.

A search window will appear for you to locate the file you downloaded from the exchange page.

Click Open and the importing process will begin.

Once all the cards are imported, you can just locate the cards by pulling up the categories that the cards were tied to.
