Before I started using PC Flash Cards, I used to spend hours making flashcards. It seemed like I never had enough time to finish the cards and still have enough time to appropriately study them. The day that I found out about the program, I remember thinking to myself, “what a great idea!” Once I got the program, then I truly realized how wonderful it was. Not only can I quickly make cards and have enough time to study them, but I can also keep them highly organized, attach any picture I want, and test myself in a very effective manner. We even have a PC Flashcards group set up in our class. We divide up the chapters, make cards, and export them to each other. Talk about efficiency! This has to be the best thing to happen to students since...... computers!

Flash cards have always been the easiest way for me to learn and obtain information, but they were so time consuming to write up and so space consuming when I wanted to keep them, that I soon just gave them up all together. When Mary spoke during one of our pre-vet club meetings at the University of Florida, I couldn't wait to go home and buy the program. It seemed like she read my mind when she designed the program. The ability to use test time, set aside cards that you continue to miss, test from back to front, and store the cards as majors or minors was exactly what I used to do with my "home made" flash cards, but now, I only spend a quarter of the time that I used to when making the cards. The best part is I don't have to find a place to store them. It also helped that the cards she had uploaded herself onto the internet pertained to a class that I was currently in. She had about 100 cards that I transferred to my file so I didn't have to type them myself. This program has made my study life extremely easier!

PC Flashcards has saved me so much time! My class formed a group where we all shared in making cards, allowing us extra time to actually keep up with the reading and learn the cards at the same time. Before I used to spend hours doing note cards, now I only spend about 2 hours a class. It has allowed me to get to know my classmates better while we work as team. I like to print my cards out and PC Flashcards allows me the freedom to do so. I can also test myself then retest on only the ones I missed. PC Flashcards even allows you to test in reverse order so you see the answer and have to come up with the question. A great tool if you're studying terms and definitions! The program is not only inexpensive, but easy to load and learn. I highly recommend PC Flashcards to any student!

me before PC flash cards. The demands for medical school were
grueling and I found myself settling for mediocre grades and blaming
my test scores on my ability to learn until I discovered that it was

(instead of memorizing) since my work affected the way my "flashers"

PCFlashCards has been a great way to study for many classes simultaneously. In addition, you have the option of quizzing yourself either in oder or randomly. Also, it keeps track of the ones you get wrong so you can re-quiz yourself. We divided questions into a couple of students and by the time you knew it you had a complete course completed and you were ready to study. The best thing is that you can print them out an study them whereever you go. This is a GREAT educational tool!
